Cynthia is a project-based arts consultant, producer, and educator. She curated and produced Performing Home, which was recommended by Chicago Tribune, The Reader, and Windy City Times. She has curated and produced performances at Links Hall and High Concept Labs, where she was a participant in the Institutional Incubation program. She has acted as dance dramaturg for contemporary dance performances as well as ballet.  She produced the film short Self-Deportation: The Untold Tale of a Marginal Woman, an official selection of Pineapple Underground Film Festival (Hong Kong) and the DC Asian-Pacific American Film Festival, among many others. Her poetry has appeared in "Best American Poetry" and journals, and she has published several articles on media and images of race in popular culture.   (CV)
